Cultural Competency - Free Community Information (BEECHWORTH)

This essential training will be presented by Judith Ahmat of Boutique Consultant. Judith Ahmat is a proud Gunditjmara woman and respected community leader who has made an important contribution to the Wodonga Aboriginal community in the fields of health, justice, education and community services
- Cultivating participant’s self-awareness of their own particularly cultural values and worldview (bias)
- Inspire positive community attitudes towards cultural differences
- Gain knowledge and understanding of different cultural practices
- Increase participant confidence in cross-cultural communication
This session forms part of an initiative to support community and is free to registered Adult Allies and Community/Group Members. Additional tickets are available to businesses and service providers at a discounted cost of $30 (+GST) per head to encourage community resilience and youth engagement.
