WHO AM I? WHERE AM I?

NEW IDENTITY BOUNDARIES IN A VIRTUAL WORLD

Please arrive at 8:30am for breakfast. The session will start at 9am.

SESSION 1:

ONE TO ONE COMMUNICATIONS? GOOD LUCK WITH THAT IN THE DIGITAL AGE!

Practical development and deployment of a universal ID

Speaker: Andrew Reid, GM, Data Analytics and Insights, Ticketek (TEG)

TEG represents one of the largest addressable databases in Australia at 12.5m members. Prior to TEG, Andrew was Head of Data and Digital Investments for the Dentsu Aegis Network, and before this, Managing Director of Komli Media and Managing Director of Nielsen Online. Andrew has also held business analyst roles with the Commonwealth Bank and News Corp.

Andrew will talk about the concept of a universal ID, verified and transportable across screens as well recognised and highly sort after. Less well known is the concept of data fidelity and its purpose of characterising the individual behind the ID. Not just behaviours, but transactions, movements, consideration sets, life-stage and of course, passions and enthusiasms. The latter is arguably the hardest to define, but the most powerful as an agent for engagement. Owning and managing a customer ID is one almighty task, but that’s 50% of the journey. The remaining task is to develop the customer’s profile with an appropriate mix of 1st and 2nd party data, using data fidelity as the guiding principle.

SESSION 2:

BLURRING REALITIES – What’s real and what’s virtual?
