Event description

Description

As outlined in Part 1, each one of us is exposed to risk everyday . Generally defined as the potential for loss, harm or danger, risk can also be positive, such as the risk that comes with new experiences, challenges and opportunities.

Part 2 will step you through the debriefing process after a critical incident has occurred . It is is aimed at putting an abnormal event into perspective for staff.

This session offers skills to assist workers to get clarity about the critical incident they have experienced and assisting them to establish a process for recovery.

Participation this session is not dependent on whether you attended Part 1. This training is suitable for anyone who supports clients in the human and community services sector, whether you are just finished studying or are in need of a refresher.
