Creative writing intensive workshops (11 to 14 years)

Join us over two days for a crash course in creative writing!

These intensive workshops will cover:

• How to do research.
• Planning.
• Innovation in writing.
• Deep dive into characterisation.
• Deep dive into autoethnography.
• Editing your work.

Sessions are on Thursday 15 January 2026, 9:30am to 12:45pm and Friday 16 January, 9:30am to 12:45pm.

Please note:

• This event is ticketed at $33.85
• One ticket is for two sessions.
• Tickets are non-refundable, including for missed sessions.
• Children aged 11 years old must be accompanied by an adult co-learner.
• Bookings are essential.
• Eventbrite automatically deducts applicable taxes before releasing funds to event organisers. As a result, we are unable to provide a tax receipt.
  

Visitor information

Children under the age of 11 should be supervised by someone over 18 at all times in the Library.
