About this Event

We're back with one of our most popular events, a Creative Writing at ANU 101 info session and workshop. Perfect for any students looking to commence, continue or develop their creative writing endeavours while studying at ANU. Hear from our guest speakers about how to write, edit or publish your work, then stick around for some writing activities with LitSoc, and snacks!

Our fantastic guest speakers:

Dr Lucy Neave is the author of Who We Were, a novel (Text Publishing, Melbourne, 2013), which was shortlisted for the ACT Book of the Year and named one of the '50 Best Books by Women' by Readings Bookstore. She is the winner of a Griffith Review Novella Prize in 2018, has been funded by the Australia Council for the Arts, and is a former Fulbright scholar. Besides writing fiction, she researches in the area of writers' practices, revision, and the representation of animals in contemporary literature.

Phoebe Lupton is the Content Editor at Woroni. She is also an English student, keen creative writer and aspiring publisher.
