A conversation about community in Cork city. We want YOU to bring something (anything!) that means community to you & discuss it with us.

About this event

Building Community Workshop:

Our workshop Building Community will take place in person at Myo Cafe, Popes Quay, Shandon, Cork on 18th August, 6-9pm(it is completely free but please register so I have an idea of numbers!)

To participate you just need to bring something that represents community to you. This can be an object (for example food, a football) or a personal reflection (photographs, piece of writing, drawing...)*

During the workshop we will discuss the 'something' you have brought, how it came to represent community over time, and exchange ideas on how to build community through objects and actions.

You are also invited to join any of the other events in our wider programme for the month of August:
