About this event

In 2021-22, the University of Canberra (UC) and Belconnen Arts Centre (Belco Arts) are partnering to deliver Creative Recovery and Resilience Residencies in Digital Innovation and Cross-Sector Engagement. The program will model distinct ways to cultivate long-term relationships and professional development, which can have an enduring impact for participating artists and organisations.

The Residency Program will support the ACT creative sector by strengthening cross-sector networks and building capacity through skills and knowledge exchange that fosters life-long learning for both artists and host organisations.

Piloting an artist-in-residence model centred around practices of care, rather than productivity, we are calling for expressions of interest in 5 positions within this inaugural program:

  • Emerging Creative Producer
  • Artist-in-Residence – Digital Innovation (Emerging)
  • Artist-in-Residence – Digital Innovation (Mid-Career/Established)
  • Artist-in-Residence – Cross-Sector Engagement (Emerging)
  • Artist-in-Residence – Cross-Sector Engagement (Mid-Career/Established)

Zoom link will be sent to people once registrations close. Please advise if you have any specific accessibility requirements to participate in this info session. The session will be recorded.

This Zoom session is a chance to gather more information about the UC and Belco Arts Creative Recovery and Resilience Residencies and is an opportunity for people to ask questions about the program.
