Creative Landscapes – Editing Your Vision
Event Information
About this event
Once you capture a great landscape image, how do you interpret and edit your file to achieve your vision of what you saw and felt at the time of capture? Creative personal editing is an art, and makes the difference between an ordinary and extraordinary image.
Nick Melidonis is a triple ‘AIPP Australian Landscape Photographer of the Year’ and he loves sharing his experience on how to craft the captured files in the field to achieve stunning images.
In this interactive and fun Zoom webinar, he will share with you and demonstrate options on how to interpret your work and make the ‘essence’ of the image ‘sing and shine’.
This informative session will include:
• Achieving a good file
• Identifying the ‘essence’ of the image
• Preparing the file (noise, capture sharpening)
• Global and local options in the image
• Fundamentals to achieving 3D from a 2D file
• First edits – which way is it going?
• Shaping the light and shadows
• The final result – sleep on it.
We will be using Zoom for this interactive on-line conference with Q&A. On the day of the session, you will receive an email with a link to access the Zoom online meeting where this session will take place. Simply click on the link to download Zoom (if you haven’t already done so), join the meeting and have some fun.
