Presenter 1: Allison Crunden – Unit Manager OHS and Safety in Design Architecture & Access Melbourne

Allison is a qualified OHS professional with twelve years providing specialist OHS advice to private and public sector clients.Allison specialises in Safety in Design services, using a strategic approach throughout the design process to integrate hazard identification, risk assessment and control methods to ensure safety is integral to the design throughout the life cycle of a building.


Projects worked on: Arts Centre Melbourne, University of Tasmania Student Housing, Westfield Chermside, Maribyrnong Secondary College, Australia 108, HMAS Cerberus, Aquanation – Ringwood Sports and Aquatic Centre, Ravenhall Prison and Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre.


Presenter 2: Patricia Flores – Queensland State Manager Architecture & Access Brisbane

Patricia is an experienced access consultant who has been providing services over the last fourteen years to private and public sector clients. She specialises in providing Access Consulting services throughout all stages of the building process to ensure the requirements of disability access and universal design are incorporated into proposed developments, thereby creating safe and accessible spaces for all users. She works closely with the client design team to ensure proposed solutions meet projects outcomes and the needs of the user.


Projects worked on: Trade Winds Hotel Redevelopment, Cairns Performing Arts Centre, Cairns Convention Centre, Bellview Hotel Cairns, Mackay Council Chambers, Masonic Centre Brisbane, Grand Central Shopping Centre Toowoomba, Roma Hospital, Mooloolaba Foreshore Revitalisation, Maroochydore CBD Relocation, Kingsford Smith Drive Upgrade, Accessibility Strategy Team Queensland Rail Metropolitan Station Audits, Brisbane City Council Ferry Terminal Upgrade Accessibility Audits.
