Description

A re-run of the popular Creating New Jobs in ICT joint ACS NSW/QESP event will be held in Parramatta on Thursday 31st August for members in that area who were unable to attend the 6th April and 17th May Sydney events.


The main presentation is by ProGalore Australia CEO, Jitendra Verma, representing the ACS Startups & Small Business SIG. ProGalore is also a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and Jitendra will cover Federal & State Government grants for education and training. Jitendra will be supported by Anne-Marie Elias, Chief Disruptor, who has been a very popular keynote speaker at the Sydney events.

Western Sydney University Chancellor, Professor Peter Shergold, is also the NSW Coordinator-General for Refugee Resettlement and attendees will include representatives from Refugee Resettlement organisations.

The event will finish with a Forum session featuring all speakers, followed by drinks, finger food and social networking.

Attendees: Public and private sector employers who are concerned about the current and growing ICT skills shortage. ACS, QESP, Consensus and ACTA members. Staff and students from the Sydney Universities. Refugee Resettlement organisations.
