Event description

Description

The work of Queensland scientists makes a world impact.

In the lead up to Brisbane hosting the World Congress of Science and Factual Producers, we invite you to highlight the depth of local talent and tell our science stories through screen and broadcast, the Queensland Government through Screen Queensland is presenting Creating Chemistry: Queensland science meets screen.

Selected scientists will have a conversation on stage with a prominent media personality to an audience of Queensland scientists, science communicators and producers.

This is an opportunity to network with some of Queensland’s most exciting filmmakers and ensure Queensland research is showcased on a global stage. The panel discussion will explore how scientific research can successfully be translated into engaging and compelling content which excites audiences across the globe.

The Queensland Government is supporting the World Congress of Science and Factual Producers in Brisbane in November 2018. This international conference is a must-attend event for producers, broadcasters and distributers working in science and factual media; think Discovery Channel and National Geographic.
