Creating Canopies at Lynwood Country Club
Date and time
Come and join us for a day of tree planting to restore habitat, cool our city and create beautiful spaces!
About this event
Join Lynwood Country Club and Greater Sydney Landcare for a day of tree planting at Pitt Town! We're planting trees to create valuable habitats for birds and other wildlife and beautiful recreational spaces to enjoy.
Green spaces aren't just great for urban ecosystems, they're also associated with better physical, lower stress levels, and greater community satisfaction. Now's your chance to get involved with repairing this space in your neighbourhood.
Please wear long sleeves, long pants, closed sturdy shoes and a hat and sunscreen, and bring at least 2 litres of drinking water. We encourage everyone to please bring your own gardening gloves for COVID-19 safety considerations.
On-site training, tools, and refreshments will be provided.
RSVPs are essential to help us with catering. Please email us or cancel your ticket if you can no longer attend.
Instructions on parking and the exact meeting point will be provided to those who have registered. You will need to arrange your own transportation to the site.
For insurance purposes, you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian if you are under 16 years of age.
