Event description

Description

Toxins and chemicals are found absolutely everywhere and many of us are not aware of the potential dangers these toxins are having on our health and the environment. They are in our food, the air we breathe and in our homes. Many are unavoidable but you can make some small changes that will have a big impact on the health and well-being of you and your family.

This workshop is all about simply raising awareness and leaving with practical suggestions and manageable solutions that are easy and inexpensive to empower you to make wiser lifestyle choices.

Learn about the importance of knowing what goes into your body, what you put onto your body and the home environment you spend time in. You will learn about the common toxins and chemicals found in food and day-to-day products, how to recognise them on a label and best of all - simple and natural alternatives to avoid them completely.

We will also discuss the environment around us and touch on subjects such as air quality in our homes, electromagnetic radiation, pesticides and other chemicals in our food and water. We also cover some amazing general health gems and tips and hope to inspire you to lead the healthiest life you can.

Included in this workshop:

  • Extensive discussion and notes carefully compiled according to the latest research including recipes, resources for additional information, where to purchase ingredients and products that are natural and toxin-free.
  • Make and take home a luxurious foaming body wash
  • All-purpose cleaning spray pack - including 200ml amber glass spray bottle, 237ml Dr Bronner's castile soap and essential oils
  • Demonstrations of washing powder with samples to take home
  • Demonstrations of aluminium-free deodorant with samples to take home
  • Nourishing and delicious afternoon tea

If DIY is not your thing or you are already juggling a hectic schedule, we have suggestions for healthy toxin-free products that are commercially available. Looking into these things can be completely overwhelming, and we often suggest changing just one thing at a time. For this reason, you can take home all the notes and recipes to review later.

Experience an beautiful day out in a peaceful setting learning and creating ways to make your home a healthy and environmentally sustainable for you and your family.
