Event description
Does a person's cognitive ability, personality and value set affect how broadminded?

About this Event

There have been many illustrations recently in the news of negative attitudes towards diversity. We have seen examples of inappropriate behaviours towards women, people with disability, the elderly or people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

SACS has recently, in partnership with Deakin University, undertaken a major study into attitudes towards diversity. We discovered some fascinating information about how personal characteristics such as intelligence, personality and values affect how likely it is for a person to be either broadminded or discriminatory.

Who Should Attend:

Chief Executive Officers, Chief Operations Officers, Managing Directors and Human Resource professionals.

How You'll Benefit:

Attend this free workshop and you will learn whether age, industry or remuneration affects how likely a person is to be broadminded or intolerant. Andrew will provide you with some practical suggestions about how to optimise the diversity friendliness of your workforce.
