Event Details

Have you wanted to kick the habit of using cling wrap? Then homemade beeswax wraps are a great alternative. They can be used in place of cling wrap to cover food and wrap sandwiches.  They keep food fresh, plus are reusable and can easily be refreshed, if the wax starts to wear thin and they loose their cling.

Join us for a three hour workshop and learn how to make your own beeswax wraps, so you can kick the cling wrap habit all together.  This workshop is fun and interactive where you will take home the wraps you get to make and are skilled in making them for your family and friends.

Conditions:

  • Must be 16 or older
  • Open to Blacktown Council residents only (proof of residence may be requested on the day)
  • Please cancel your ticket if you are unable to attend.

If you have any enquiries please call us on 9839 6055 or email us at ourenvironment@blacktown.nsw.gov.au.
