Description

E.L.D.O.A is an innovative stretching technique created by a world-renowned French Osteopath, Dr. Guy Voyer Do.


The aim of this self-normalizing technique is reached by adopting body positions that resemble yoga-like postures, helping to reestablish the natural space and mobility between the vertebrae and reestablish proper postural alignment.


This method can be utilized for targeting specific vertebrae.

With just one minute of practice a day it's possible to relieve disc compression between T5-T4, or by participating in classes which will focus on a different area each time with the aim of maintenance and injury prevention.


Why is it important to maintain mobility, flexibility and good postural alignment for anyone of any walk of life?

The reason is simple, without it, the balance between Phasic (Movement) and Tonic (postural) muscles will be disrupted, this can happen easily in modern life where faulty, repetitive one-sided activity and sitting for long period of time are forcing the muscle-skeletal system to overcompensate and loos natural alignment and posture.


E.L.D.O.A Method focus predominately on mobilising and free up restriction on the Axial System ( Spine, Rib cage, and Skull) It has been shown by research that a person is still able to move around/walk without legs or arms but not without a fully functional spine, this to say that if there is a restriction or issue in the spine the issue will show up on the Appendicular system (Arms, Legs, Pelvis)


The reason is that the spine is the Power House from where movement begins.
