CREATE & MAKE
Overview
Over a 6-week period young artists 5-14yrs of age will be exploring the work of 3 amazing Australian artists including a Tasmanian based artist. We will look at what materials they use, what inspires them and taking inspiration from their work create our own.

We will explore the work of;
Rosie Deaon, who works with easily accessible materials, that some people may describe as everyday junk. Her work is large, colourful, immersive and fun.
Sally Smart, one of Australia's most succesful artists. Sally creates large scale collages and assemblage installations using a variety of materials including fabric, metal and paint.
Edith Perrenot, is an artist, designer, maker and perform. Edith lives in Hobart/nipaluna and is originally from France. Edith likes to create "universes" and her art practice is very expansive. Edith will be exhibiting at the Devonport Regional Gallery in 2026.
CHILDREN UNDER 8 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT/LEGAL GUARDIAN.
