Event description
Mental health organisation Meeting For Minds organises a beach meditation session on Thursday the 4th of March at 7.00 am at Cottesloe Beach

About this Event

Help us bring this stunning Andrew Baines original artwork to life and support Meeting for Minds – a charity taking a fresh and inclusive approach to our community’s mental health challenges.

Check in at street level in between Barchetta and the Blue Duck

Be part of the installation – wear your bathers and be ready to sit on the sand and practice gentle mindfulness practice led by experienced teachers. You will be a part of this living art installation – get some friends to join you!

After checking in at 7am, participants will be directed by marshals, to sit 2m apart, along water's edge looking out to sea.

The living installation will then be held for 20 minutes, and will also be photographed and spread via social media to help spread our message of consideration and contemplation past the edges of the beach, to a mass audience.

If you take any pictures of the event, use the #CreateLivingArt to share any content
