Event description

Description

Join this introductory workshop on Thursday 30 March in Camberwell to find out more about the exciting Backyard Biodiversity project and how to create a garden that provides food and shelter for native birds, butterflies and other wildlife. This workshop also includes a wonderful presentation on Boroondara's natural environment by ecologist Dr Graeme Lorimer.

Particpants will also be eligible to sign up for further Backyard Biodiversity workshops and activities. Information on these follow-on sessions will be sent to you shortly before the first workshop. Please note that you must be a resident of Boroondara and have a small area available in your garden to plant as part of this project.

This workshop is part of the Living for our Future Program, a community sustainable living initiative of the City of Boroondara. Stay up to date about future events and resources by visiting our Living for our Future webpage or by signing up for our e-newsletter.
