Event description
This adorable owl rock is a 'hoot' to paint, and uses simple supplies.

About this event

Join Catherine for a hands-on online tutorial in which you'll learn how to design and paint your own feathered friend.

This is a simple, fun, free class for crafters 12 years and older.

Hosted by Catherine Saunders, the emphasis is on a simple, creative, social art session, where anyone can get great results.

Participants will supply their own materials from home.

You will need:

  • A smooth oval or round rock (a larger rock will be easier to paint), cleaned and dried.
  • Acrylic paints: white, black, brown, orange and, if available, metallic. Paint pens are a suitable alternative.
  • A pencil
  • A variety of paintbrushes, with one suitable for detail and fine lines.
  • A sharpie or permanent marker.
  • A toothpick, skewer or thin stick.
  • Water and a rag to clean brushes.

Participants need to book via Eventbrite. Session is fully ONLINE via ZOOM.

This event is available for library members only. Please have your membership card ready when booking your ticket. If you would like to become a member of Shellharbour City Libraries please click here.
