Event description
October Webinar - Climate Conscious Planning with the Planning Institute of Australia

About this event

Planning shapes our land use decisions, delivers infrastructure, protects our natural environments and creates resilient and safe local communities. Our planning systems are too powerful to leave out of the equation when it comes to fighting the climate crisis.

Join Audrey Marsh from the Planning Institute of Australia to unpack the interconnected world of local planning and discover a blueprint for delivering climate action through planning systems.

This presentation will address how the following can help accelerate climate action:

  • strategic planning
  • urban design
  • precinct planning
  • development assessment frameworks

Speaker:

  • Audrey Marsh is the Planning Institute of Australia’s Senior Policy and Campaign Officer. She uses her background in urban and regional planning, government and politics to help shape PIA’s policy and advocacy agenda. Audrey has worked across a range of urban and regional planning issues in consulting and local government, with a particular focus on social infrastructure and strategic planning.

The Zoom link will be in the registration confirmation email and in the reminder email.
