About this event
Please note numbers are limited to 30 participants. To take part you must be a woman from a culturally or linguistically diverse background, that lives in Victoria, Australia. The forum will be in English.
HIC is convening this forum in conjunction with the Optimise Study. This is our tenth public forum in our program of Community COVID conversations where we provide accurate and current information directly from the experts.
Our guest speaker is:
Prof Margaret Hellard- Burnet Institute
During this session you will:
- Have the opportunity to talk about your confidence in the COVID vaccine program
- Hear from experts about COVID vaccinations for 5–11-year-olds
- Discuss strategies to manage challenging immunisation situations
- Explore how to build vaccine confidence with children aged 5-11 years
- Understand vaccination for children with special needs
- Ask questions about the need for booster doses of the COVID vaccine
This is your opportunity to ask questions about COVID vaccinations for your family. It is also an opportunity for you to talk about other factors that make vaccinating your family difficult.
We want to find out if you :
- Can access transport to vaccination locations
- Feel that the vaccine booking system is easy to understand
- Have all the vaccine information you need to decide about vaccination?
- Can suggest what more could be done to make it easy for you and your family to receive their COVID vaccine?
