Eric joined KPMG Hong Kong in 2009 and brought with him over 10 years of investment banking experience with Nomura International Hong Kong and Rabobank Hong Kong. Throughout the years, Eric focused in mergers and acquisitions and Pre-IPO investment advisory and has advised in numerous cross-border M&A transactions in various sectors across Asia Pacific. Eric is qualified as FCPA (Australia) and is also a Responsible Officer accredited by the SFC for Advising on Corporate Finance for HK listed companies.

Yvette Chan

Yvette joined China Tax in Hong Kong in 2009 having worked in KPMG London for five years. She has advised on regulatory and tax issues arising from transactions and foreign direct investments in the PRC, as well as outbound investments by Chinese companies- including tax structuring, tax due diligence, tax modeling review, mergers & acquisitions, corporate restructuring, pre-IPO restructuring, leasing, and tax compliance projects in the PRC, She specialises in the structuring of investment funds as well as M&A and financial transactions from a tax perspective. Yvette services industries including private equity, investment fund, real estate, infrastructure, consumer and industrial markets, telecommunications, education, and financial services. Yvette has co-authored articles on Chinese taxation in various journals and has spoken at various seminars on Chinese taxation, particularly in relation to non-resident tax issues.
