Event description

Description

Join author and travel writer Valerie Pybus to explore the filming locations of the Poldark screen series, reliving the history of its time. Poldark owes its creation to Winston Mawdsley Graham. Born in Manchester, Graham visited Cornwall in 1925 and stayed for more than 40 years. He was supported by his mother while he wrote novels at home in longhand and attempted to get them published. Find out more about the dramatic landscape that inspired Graham at this enthralling talk.
