Core Performance Counselling - Skills (August 2017)

Prevention is better than cure!

This NEW blended program is a combination of 2 online modules + 2 hour face to face skills workshop that will give you the practical skills to effectively deal with unacceptable performance & behaviour at an early stage, thus preventing major problems.

Participants will be given access to 2 online modules to complete prior to attending the workshop, which provides participants with a practical step by step guideline to follow in counselling and reprimanding employees, as well as recognising improved performance.

At the end of this training session, participants will be able to:

• Understand the requirements of the Fair Work Act 2009 in respect of discipline and dismissals

• Recognise employee shortcomings

• Understand the need for corrective discipline

• Conduct a performance counselling session

• Effectively reprimand an employee

• Recognise improved performance
