About this Event
Showcasing to industry, government representatives and parents are the skills, talents and career awareness developed through the CoRE Learning Model by our CoRE students. The CoRE Learning Foundation invite you to join CoRE students, Educators and the CoRE Learning Foundation Team on Wednesday 2nd of December 2020 from 5.30 pm at the CORE Innovation Hub, Perth.
The CoRE Learning Model caters for the diverse learning needs of students; integrating a STEAM project-based learning format, which focuses on exploring, and using technological advances which reflect Western Australia's burgeoning industries.
CoRE Learning supports students in the development of their 21st century social and emotional STEAM skills. CoRE’s aim is to provide students with relevant, meaningful, integrated STEAM curriculum, and through CoRE education, students develop a significant awareness of career pathways and links to industry associated with the talent pipeline for our future.
The aim of this event is to demonstrate CoRE students current works and achievements from the Lighthouse School - Kent Street Senior High School and the new Metro school - Joseph Banks Secondary College, whilst bringing together our varied network of educators to share their CoRE Learning Journeys as they engage and encourage students to explore #therealclassroom
Industry, community groups. parents and educators are encouraged to attend to discover the many elements of our unique program and the ways they can benefit and/or contribute to the CoRE Expansion.
