Description
Cook Shire Council will be hosting the third annual Cooktown and Cape York Business Conference on Thursday, November 3 at the PCYC Cooktown Events Centre.
In 2016, the conference turns its attention to Cook Shire Council’s Economic Development Plan for 2016 – 2020: ‘Enabling, Innovative, Opportunity’ and the Australian Government’s White Paper on Developing North Australia: ‘Our North, Our Future’, to explore topics relevant to today’s innovative, progressive and sustainability conscious businesses.
Keynote speakers for this year's conference include Olympic Gold Medallist, Duncan Armstrong OAM (via live stream); Becker Helicopter Group CEO, Captain Jan Becker; Author, entrepreneur and global presenter, Andrew Griffiths; Social media consultant, Lisa Monks; Cairns Chamber of Commerce CEO, Deb Hancock and Workforce Vitality, Jilinda Lee.
