About this Event

Struggling to cook healthy meals on a student budget? Not familiar with the best places to get cheap groceries in Sydney or where you can find your favourite ingredients from home?

Join current PhD candidates in nutrition Virginia and Helen and learn how to cook easy, quick and nutritious meals that won't break your budget, will give you the energy you need to power through semester and stay healthy and well.

Virginia and Helen will share their expertise as well as their own student insider tips about how to eat healthy on a budget. They will guide you through a couple of easy and healthy recipes. To make the most out of this workshop, we recommend that you buy the ingredients using the shopping list (view below or download PDF here), and participate actively in your own kitchen. No experience or fancy equipment necessary - just a curiosity to learn and have fun! After the workshop, you can stay online to enjoy a virtual dinner and connect with other students from across the University community.

In partnership with the USU, you have the option to order an exclusive grocery box with all the ingredients you need for the workshop. You can order a USU X Star Team Cooking on a Budget Box from here USU2U Webstore.
