Event description

Description

This program is suitable for women aged 16+.

'Cooking Circles' develops social connections and builds communities among women and girls in the ACT. Heidi Zajac, the founder of Cooking Circles, has so far helped over 200 Canberra women to become connected to others through regular or casual cooking networks, all run by volunteers. In this presentation, she will outline the process of setting up a Cooking Circle and how she came upon the idea after spending time in Timor Leste.

All programs are free. Bookings required.

Please take note:

  • Bookings are essential.
  • Please arrive 10 mins early to allow time to check in; this assists the workshop to run on schedule.
  • Places are limited to ensure the best possible experience. If you can't attend please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your place to someone else.
