Description

The Art of Inclusion - Power House Conversation Series

How does art help us see the world in new ways?

How are artists using their unique lived experiences to tell new stories?

Lord Somers Camp & Power House’s Inclusion Committee in partnership with Arts Project Australia invite you to their Conversation Series, ‘The Art of Inclusion’.

This event will invite artists and creative producers to engage in conversation about expressing their unique identities through their art.

We will hear from artists from different communities and creative practices and have the opportunity to explore the possibility art provides to give audiences greater insight into often unheard perspectives.

This event will be MC’d by Brigid Canny. Brigid is a filmmaker and narrative practitioner working at the intersection of film, digital and facilitation. Training firstly as a facilitator and then as a filmmaker, Brigid's approach to storytelling work looks at the narratives that create our sense of community, value and purpose. Brigid also happens to be vision impaired.

Panellists to be announced shortly.

This is a family friendly event and kids activities will be in full swing on the day.
