NATIONAL SECURITY AND THE IMPACTS ON CLIMATE CHANGE

About this event

NATIONAL SECURITY & THE IMPACTS OF CLIMATE CHANGE

Defence expects that their priorities will increasingly compete for resources and attention, as a result of both domestic climate change impacts and the evolving security situation in the Indo-Pacific region.

The Climate and Sustainability Policy Research Group (CASPR) will facilitate the eventing's discussions with the panel, highlighting issues of collaboration, cooperation, integration and communication.

CONVERGENCE SERIES SESSIONS

The aim of the evening is to enable creative collisions of researchers and practitioners from different disciplines, with the hope of fostering a community of practise that can take some of the ideas discussed on the night further, remembering that the DIP team are eager to hear of collaborative ideas and projects that we can help to develop.

The Convergence Series will start conversations that we hope will develop into convergent collaborations in the future.

Drinks vouchers distributed on arrival, food provided during the session.

Attendance is by invite and spaces are limited. Registrations close midday of the event.
