Transit Origins is excited to offer this workshop with Kaitlin Malone as part of a 6 week workshop series with our Contemporary extension faculty. These online youth workshops are aimed at dancers 12 and up, and will offer insight into what Transit Dance Contemporary extensions offers, including contemporary technique, improvisation and creative practice.
About Kaitlin Malone:
Kaitlin Malone has developed her artistic practice under the mentorship of Paul Malek and Israel Aloni at Transit Dance, since graduating in 2018. Kaitlin is a current company artist with Transit Dance Company, and has recently worked with Stephanie Lake Company in ‘Colossus’ for two Melbourne seasons, as well as rehearsal assistant for the Perth and Switzerland tour this year. Alongside her artistic practice, Kaitlin is also a passionate teacher and mentor. Her investment as a working performer compliments her abilities to teach current industry knowledge and is developing her unique style. Moreover, Kaitlin is excited at the future opportunities to bind her passion in performing, choreographing and teaching.
