Containing Compost: Bought & Homemade Solutions
Date and time

Online event
Containers for compost can take many forms and need not cost a small fortune. Let us show you some ideas from simple to more complex.
About this event
Compost is one of the best things you can add to garden soil. Containing the compost while it decomposes and store it until you need it requires space but need not cost a lot of money. In fact, there is no need to buy a commercial plastic bin unless you choose to do so.
Join your hosts, Mark and Lynne, in this free online workshop. We will discuss the pros and cons of the two main types of commercial compost bins. We will explore other ideas, from one that costs no money at all, through several more complex types of homemade containers. If time allows, there will be a practical demonstration of a couple of these ideas.
Mark and Lynne have made compost in commercial containers, and a range of homemade solutions. They are happy to share these ideas with you and answer any questions you may have.
You are invited to join Mark and Lynne for a follow-up workshop the next weekend where they explain the basics of making compost itself.
