Event description

Description

A networking and learning opportunity for anyone in a consumer, family, carer or community representative, committee or working group role in the health system in WA.

The session will start at 1.30pm, with registration and informal networking from 1pm. The session will end at 4pm.

The focus for discussion at this session will be sharing and generating ideas for how consumer, carer, family and community reps can engage with people in their broader communities. This could include sharing feedback from committee or group meetings; gathering feedback from patients, families and carers to inform discussions at meetings; and engaging with the broader community about the opportunity for people to be involved as partners in the design, delivery and evaluation of sustainable health and social care services and reported outcomes.

Background

These consumer, family, carer and community representative networking events are a mix of informal and structured elements, with time for networking, interactive working sessions and facilitated learning around good practice in consumer, carer and community engagement .

Please note, we may be taking photos or video at this session. If you do not wish to be included in these, please let us know when you arrive.
