B2B Selling also is known as Complex selling describes the sales process required to sell medium and large customers including, local councils and governments. Typically the selling process involves engaging with more than one customer stakeholder and may include participating in a rigorous customer driven buying process. This may require providing documented evidence to meet buyer criteria which can be a lengthy and costly process, particularly if a sale is lost. This makes it critical for a start-up to engage buyers where there is a high likelihood of success and then doing so as efficiently and effectively as possible is critical for a selling organization.
