Connection Matters: Mental Health Support for Seniors
Event Information
About this event
Social connectedness. It refers to the feeling of being loved, cared for, valued, listened to and supported. With the world's transition to video calls and physical distancing, many of us are finding it difficult to stay socially connected - and this can take a toll on our mental wellbeing.
At SHARE, we understand the challenges that our senior community is going through. That's why we are hosting Connection Matters - a guide to staying connected with loved ones and prioritising taking care of your mental health during these times.
Join us on 21 October this Mental Health Awareness Month, as we dive in to practical ways to look after you, with advice from leading mental health professionals specialising in aged care, this is a must-attend event for all those over 55 looking to improve mental health, as well as carers and aged care health professionals.
