Connected to YOUth – Be Job Maker Graduation
We would like to invite you to the graduation of the Southern cohort of the Connected to YOUth – Be a Job Maker program, funded by the Department for Communities and Social Inclusion, at Flinders University on Thursday 8 December 2016.
The New Venture Institute has partnered with Career Blueprint and Sammy D Foundation to deliver the Connected to YOUth – Be a Job Maker program. The program aims to foster Job Makers by engaging young people with the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Northern and Southern Adelaide current start-ups and experienced mentors to turn their innovative ideas into businesses or assist them to embark on an ‘intrapreneurial’ journey within the dynamic Small to Medium Enterprise (SME) sector.
The graduation will include a certificate presentation and a pitch event that will take place at Lecture Theatre 2, Flinders at Tonsley, 1284 South Road, Clovelly Park, commencing at 2.00 pm and finishing no later than 3.30 pm.
The southern cohort of this program has engaged twelve young entrepreneurs, male and female, aged between 16 and 22 years old. This graduation marks the culmination of their five-week intensive course spanning entrepreneurship, work experience, career planning and personal leadership.
