Hosted virtually and in-person, Entain Australia is proud to partner with multiple community organisations to launch Connectathon: Creating connection and building pathways into technology for underrepresented groups.
With huge prizes on offer for winners of each stream and open to students or recent graduates aged 18 years or older, this is a hackathon that can’t be missed if you’re passionate about making a difference in your community.
In collaboration with Indigitek, Women In Digital, Coder Academy, the University of Queensland and the Brisbane Business Hub, you can choose to tackle one of three streams:
- Break down barriers faced by women; to win a two-week trip to London
- Connect Indigenous and First Nations people with tech; win a $30k cash prize, that we're matching with a $30k donation
- Create an inclusive gaming solution; win a $30k cash investment plus access to our Innovation Hub mentors
Over three days, you'll hear from influential industry experts about their journeys in tech, and participate in workshops to build your technical skills.
