Event description
Join the City of Gold Coast for a community planting day

About this event

Protect, restore and enhance our natural areas with the Beaches to Bushland Program.

The Beaches to Bushland Volunteer Landcare Program provides a platform for the local community to foster a connection with their natural environment and encourages active community involvement as well as ownership of our natural assets.

Join the City of Gold Coast in helping to plant 1000 native trees along a section of Pimpama River at Ormeau Sports Park. It's a great way to help your local environment and meet some of your local community.

A Council officer is in attendance on the day, all materials are supplied and the holes are pre- dug.

If you enjoy being outdoors, being part of a community and would like to make a difference to our natural environment No experience is necessary to join. Suitable for all ages.

Every participant must have a booking prior.

Supported by Division 1 Councillor Mark Hammel
