This 1 day session will focus on building your understanding and confidence to conduct focus groups and interviews with consumers. The session will include information about:
- When focus groups and interviews are appropriate ways to collect feedback from consumers
- Key considerations in the development and facilitation of focus groups and interviews
- Consumer recruitment strategies
- Qualitative data collation, analysis and reporting strategies
You will also be provided with a range of practical tools and resources to support you to run effective focus groups and interviews in their own work.

The 'Conducting Interviews and Focus Groups' workshop is being run on:

at the Multicultural Hub, 506 Elizabeth St, Melbourne 3000
Target group: This workshop is appropriate for any staff involved in the collection and use of consumer feedback to support ongoing quality improvement within your agency. There are no pre-requisite training requirements.
Catering: Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided. Please enter dietary requirements when booking your ticket.

Statement of Attendance: Participants will receive a statement of attendance at the end of the session
Fees and invoicing: Registration fees include provision of all training materials (including interview and focus group booklets from the Consumer Feedback toolkit) and catering. 10% GST and the Eventbrite booking fees are included within the ticket price. A tax invoice will be emailed to you following registration.
Cancellation fees: There is a $50 cancellation fee up to 28 days before the workshop, $100 fee for cancellations made 7-27 days before the workshop. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made less than 7 days before the workshop commencement.
