The Artist

Jess Thompson is the creative queen of Pot It Like It's Hot.

Pot It Like It's Hot was born from Jess' vast, and still growing, collection of succulents and cacti, and her endless search to find good quality pots that matched her style and preference for an industrial look, but also fun and colourful - a hard category of homewares to search for!

Jess is ALWAYS making SOMETHING, whether it be bunting for her annual Eurovision party, decorations for a Wizard of Oz Hens Night, or giant signs for a 1980's prom!

When Jess discovered concrete pots in some of the large retail stores in the middle of 2015, she loved the look of them and wondered how hard it would be to make one. Jess still has the very first concrete pot she ever made, and fell in love not only with the finished product, but the process. Pot It Like It's Hot was on its way!

Concrete pots are great companions for your home and Pot It Like It's Hot can match colours and styles to your particular tastes. The concrete pots are suitable for inside or outside use and are the perfect accessory for interior lovers.

Presented as part of the City of Stirling's Mind Your Arts Program.
