A whole weekend of solid gaming – board games, RPGs, card games, wargames, minis… if it's an analogue game on a tabletop, then it's welcome. We attract attendees from right around the country. Come and join us for a game!
Saturday: 9:30am - 11:30pm
Sunday: 9am - 10:30pm
New to the Hobby?
Maybe you've come across Will Wheaton's YouTube series "Tabletop". Perhaps Game of Thrones has made you want to try Pathfinder or Dungeons & Dragons. Maybe you're looking for a way to socialise and unplug from your iDevice. Perhaps you're looking for a way to keep your mind active. Whatever the reason, you might be interested in learning about modern game designs. Take a look at our article Modern Board Games for more info.
New to Game Conventions?
You've never been to a convention before. Nervous? You shouldn't be! gamers are a friendly lot. Here's What to Expect.
A Convention Room ticket covers admission for the entire weekend, and is the same, cheap price whether you come for the whole time, or just an afternoon.
For children 17 years and under, the cost of admission to the Convention Room is a donation – the amount is up to you! Please be aware that they must be accompanied by a ticket-holding parent or guardian at all times.
Can I purchase my ticket at the door?
UPDATE: Since the tickets have sold out it is unlikely that there will be any available at the door. It's possible that there will be some cancellations, so you can try your luck. Make sure you join the mailing list to be notified early of next year's ticket sales!
Only if there are any tickets left will you be able to purchase at the door. The door price for tickets is $25/$20 concession. It would make us sad to have to turn you away, so you should buy your tickets online in advance. See below for refund policies.
Can we get the group discount price at the door?
No, sorry. The group discount tickets are only available until 10 July 2016. Also, see above about selling out of tickets ahead of the convention. Get in quick!
I came along last year and had a great time. Should I bring a friend?
Oh, yeah. You should make it a goal to bring at least one person who has never been to ConCentric!
How can I help spread the word?
Easy - Follow our social media channels, and Like/+1/Share/Retweet anything that catches your attention. Let your friends know!
Is there an age limit to enter the event?
ConCentric Games is a family friendly event. Children 17 years and under must be accompanied by a ticket-holding parent or guardian at all times.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
There is a large-ish car park at the venue, and it's very close to the major bus routes.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Bring games! Please feel free to cosplay if you like (why not? Talk like a Pirate day is just around the corner), but leave any weapons (real or replica) at home. We don't have a check-in facility. However, we do have a snack bar to keep you going. Also, coffee. Mmmm… coffee.
Will you post a ticket out to me?
No, you'll receive an email after you purchase your ticket online.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes, unless you have the app installed on your smartphone. It will speed up registration.
What is the refund policy?
Ticket refunds will be available up until 19 August 2016.
Will there be good coffee at the venue?
Yes. Yes there will be.
