Improve your computing skills by enrolling in this FREE online course. Study online, at home or at:

Course runs for 14 weeks and you will be provided with learning support through our volunteers at a time that suits you to complete all the activities (self-paced). You will need about 6-8 hours per week to complete the activities.
The course covers the basics of computing including:
- Word processing
- File management
You will complete four of the units from Certificate I in Information, Digital Media and Technology (ICA10111)
ICAICT101A Operate a Personal Computer
ICAICT102A Operate Word Processing Applications
ICAICT105A Operate a Spreadsheet Application
ICAICT103A Use, Communicate and Search Securely on the Internet
Enrolment period Monday 8 August – Friday 19 August
Course starts Monday 5 September
Course ends Friday 2 December

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Short-term parking is provided behind Rosny LINC, or in nearby car parks. Buses are available from Rosny which is a 2 minute walk from Rosny LINC.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You don't need to bring your printed ticket to the event but you must register (either online through Eventbrite or through Rosny LINC).

Rosny LINC is conveniently located in Bligh Street, Rosny (in the same building as Service Tasmania, a block from Eastlands and across the road from Pet Barn). We offer a variety of classes and information sessions on a regular basis as well as help with reading, writing and maths. We also have books, magazines, CD's and DVD's to borrow.
