Did you know the average red lidded waste bin within the City of Canada Bay is more than half full of food waste? What a waste when instead you could convert your food scraps into free nutrient rich fertiliser for your garden!
Have you already tried composting or worm farming and were unsuccessful? Or perhaps you have a compost bin or worm farm already set-up at home but you have some questions you need answered?
This composting and worm farming workshop will teach you how to establish a compost bin or worm farm allowing for your leftover food waste to be recycled into a rich and healthy product for your garden. Learn what to do (and what not to do!) to establish a flourishing compost bin or worm farm at your home. In this fun and interactive workshop, adults will learn all about composting and worm farming!
Please note: Bookings are essential as capacity is limited. This event is only open to residents of the City of Canada Bay. Proof of residency may be required.
