Event description
What if you don’t have a backyard? Can you still compost? Of course you can! Come and learn how with Robyn Brown from Waste is My Resource.

About this event

What if you don’t have a backyard? Can you still compost? Of course you can! Composting is the most effective tool in the zero waste tool belt. It is simple and can enable you to start and maintain an edible garden on a balcony or tiny space.

Come along to find out what you can do in your tiny space. Methods covered are: vermicomposting(worm farming), bokashi (fermented composting) and electric composting.

About Robyn Brown and Waste Is My Resource

Robyn has been a secondary art teacher for many years with a lifelong interest in waste and reusing. She has also been interested in permaculture since its inception in WA in the 1980s and has a large organic garden on her rural property at Serpentine.

In more recent years she has worked as a Waste Education Officer for Rivers Regional Council, helping people to reduce waste and now runs her own business, Waste Is My Resource.
