About this event

Want to manage your food waste at home and nourish your garden at the same time? Learn how to make the most of those food scraps while trimming your bin!

Join WMRC Waste Educators and compost guru Peg, from Lessen with Peg for this Compost & Worm Farm Workshop. We'll go through different solutions for managing organic waste at home, show you how to set up a low-cost system for yourself, and take a tour of the St. Luke's Community Garden.

Attend this workshop to find out how you can receive $50 toward the purchase of a compost bin, worm farm or bokashi bin. This is a limited offer for WMRC Member Councils and Town of Cambridge residents only. Ts & Cs apply.

Bookings are essential for this event! A light morning tea will be provided following the workshop. Register through Eventbrite. Cost of $5 + booking fee. If the ticket cost is a barrier to coming to this event please call on 9384 6711 and we are happy to assist.

Tickets: Member council tickets are available to residents from Claremont, Cottesloe, Mosman Park, Peppermint Grove & Subiaco. General admission tickets are available for Cambridge and residents from other councils.

Thanks and we look forward to seeing you there!
