Maggie is an avid gardener with 50 years of gardening experience who loves to share her practical know-how
and inspire others to enjoy their garden.

Composting is the gardener’s most important skill. One teaspoon of good quality compost may contain as much as a billion beneficial bacteria and fungi. Good compost improves the soil, providing the best food for plants and increasing the water holding capacity of soil.


You will learn:
• to understand the ecology of the soil in your garden
• the ins and outs of making good quality humus rich compost
• regenerative techniques to bring your soil back to life
• to increase the nutrient density of your produce and therefore
your health and wellbeing

This workshop will be thought provoking and experience led. Attendees will walk away feeling inspired, with a greater understanding of the fundamentals of composting.
