Event description

Description

Join presenter and sustainable gardener, Alan Shepard:

"At this free and practical workshop you will learn the simple steps to making your own ‘black gold!’. Compost enriches soil resulting in a productive and healthy garden”.

This presentation is brought to you by the Prospect Fruit & Veg Swap located at the Prospect Community Garden. It is made possible by a community grant from the City of Prospect.

If you have excess garden produce please bring it along to swap after the workshop at 1100.

The Fruit & Veg Swap normally meets monthly on the first Saturday of the month from 10 with the swap occurring at 10.30. It is fun and a great way to meet your local community members, share knowledge and reduce food wastage. The Prospect Community Garden is open on Saturday and Tuesday morning from 9 to 12 and new members are always welcome.
