Engaging diverse groups of people, with different perspectives is fundamental to commitment and innovation. Traditional methods of facilitation and project management do not develop or sustain the relationships needed to move through the 'Groan Zone' to embrace diversity and share risk taking while tackling complex challenges.
Marcia Dwonczyk and Viv Read combine expertise and practical experience in complex facilitation, partnering, community engagement and innovation. The workshop combines theory and practice, exploring methods that are in the public arena and enabling appropriate methods to be applied to different contexts.
Participants are encouraged to bring their complex issue to the workshop, to be used as the basis for applying the methods and processes.
