About this event

Struggling to find the motivation to finish that last chapter? This workshop aims to empower you to overcome those final writing hurdles and achieve timely completion. We will look at achieving a quality thesis that is coherent and well structured. We will also consider examiner expectations of research theses. The examination and submission process and ECU requirements will be discussed, and we will look briefly at life after thesis submission.

Objectives:

  • Overcome motivational constraints to finish writing and submit on time
  • Develop strategies for producing a well-structured thesis
  • Understand examiners' expectations for HDR theses
  • Understand the examination and thesis submission process at ECU

Facilitated by Dr Cecily Scutt, with guest speakers from GRS and ECU Library

This workshop will be cancelled if less than 5 people register.
